Stem Robotics !!!

    STEM is a term that refers to the academic disciplines of SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINERRING & MATHEMATICS.
    According to the United States National Research Council and the National Science Foundation, STEM fields are collectively considered as core technological underpinnings of an advanced society.
    The hands-on approach to coding, enables teachers and their students to explore the building blocks of coding in a real-world environment to Solve real-world challenges. From simple drag and drop interfaces to developing more complex algorithms, teachers are empowered to encourage students to explore the World around them and develop their own ideas and theories, making science come to life through coding.
    Preparing students for the digital careers of the future with hands-on learning and problem solving through coding.

Atal Tinkering Labs !!!

    The Government of India has setup the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) at NITI Aayog. Realising the need to create scientific temper and cultivate the spirit of curiosity and innovation among young minds, AIM proposes to support establishment of a network of Atal Tinkering Laboratories (ATL) in India.
    ATL is a work space where young minds can give shape to their ideas through hands on do-it-yourself mode; and learn innovation skills. Young children will get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). ATL would contain educational and learning ‘do it yourself’ kits and equipment on – science, electronics, robotics, open source microcontroller boards, sensors and 3D printers and computers. Other desirable facilities include meeting rooms and video conferencing facility.
    In order to foster inventiveness among students, ATL can conduct different activities ranging from regional and national level competitions, exhibitions, workshops on problem solving, designing and fabrication of products, lecture series etc. at periodic intervals.

3-d Printing !!!

    3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file.
    The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced horizontal cross-section of the eventual object.
    World is changing more rapidly than ever before, students can bring their imaginations into existence with the help of 3-D printing technology. As far as this technology can be used in education, it is a matter of bringing objects out of the computer screen into the hands of students for inspection, analysis, and others process that can benefit for physical manipulation. In that way, 3-D printers may eventually be able to bridge the gap between the physical and the digital-use a screen to find that you need, than print it into existence.
